The ACI/MM-1 and ACI/MM-2 is a solid -state current operated relay with two user-adjustable level settings for independently monitoring starting and running currents. Each 4-turn adjustment sets the threshold of a precision comparator which trips whenever the starting or running current exceeds the setting. Two settable timers, each triggered by its own comparator, provides a 0.2 to 10 second delay in which the normal relay operation is inhibited. These delays cover the normal start time and whatever running-overload time the user needs to avoid the nuisance trips. The contact can be wired directly to the starters. The MM-1 series is used to monitor overloads and the MM-2 series is used to monitor underloads.
The switch can sense current from 1 to 200 Amps continuous, up to 1000 VAC and has 3 jumper selectable input ranges. The sensors trip point is adjustable from 1 to 200A using the four turn potentiometer. The output is a normally open or normally closed solid state relay which may be used to switch either AC or DC power. A Red LED displays the On/Off status of the switch and is standard on all sensors unless specified. Power for the MM series current sensors is induced from the conductor being monitored. All ACI/MM-1 and ACI/MM-2 series current sensors come with a 5 year unconditional warranty
